I am professional artist living and working in the World Heritage City of Bath, UK. As a self taught artist, I have been painting commissioned paintings in either watercolours or pastels, for over 38 years. I have in the main specialised in subject areas on Aviation, Maritime Ships.

Throughout the development of my artwork over the years, I have discovered and utilised techniques that often use non- conventional protocol, whilst using watercolors in particular. This approach to variation of technique enhances and enables effects that produces the result I strive to achieve. 

My passion and enthusiasm for painting artwork is simply an enjoyable experience and this is something which I aim always to bring into my artwork. 

My commissioned paintings customers base have been from the UK, Mainland Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan. I have been commissioned by a renown UK greeting card company in the production of 6 Collectors Cards. In addition my work has been commissioned to illustrate a book dust cover.

Three of my aviation paintings have been flown in historic vintage aircraft in the UK and signed by the crew of the aircraft. These include the infamous Avro Lancaster bomber and the Douglas Dakota both of the Royal Air Force Memorial Flight ; The Avro Vulcan bomber of the Vulcan Trust, and a Hawker Hunter T2.

Many of my maritime ship art paintings have been donated from a private art collection of Remo Salta and are on permanent display in the following locations:

1) US Naval History & Heritage Command, US Navy Art Collection, located in Washington DC, USA.

2) National Museum of The Royal New Zealand Navy, Torpedo Bay Navy Museum, Auckland, New Zealand.

3) Japanese Embassy (Naval section) -Washington DC, USA.

4) Marina Militare Navy Museum Art Collection, Rome

5) British Embassy, MOD Navy section, Washington, DC, USA.

I have also helped raise several thousands of pounds sterling for charity organisations in the UK, including the aviation charity fly2help, The Steamship Shieldhall Preservation Trust, and also for the Bath Cats and Dogs Rescue Home.
